Eat the Rainbow :)

What to eat when it is so hot you can't think of eating or cooking? â€‹Fruit salads of course! :) They are super easy and quick to make, they are versatile, they are filled with liquids and they are packed with delicious flavour of seasonal fruits.

When you are making or planning a fruit salad it is very important to make sure the fruit that you will be using is ripe. Using fruit that is not ripe will ruin your salad as it will either taste of nothing or be really sour and in the worst case scenario it will give you a stomach ache. So do yourself a favour and choose seasonal and ripe fruits for your salad. This way you can also vary and make your salad a little different depending on the season.

Another thing you should think about when choosing your fruits for the salad is how they will taste together as you want fruits that complement each other. I would say there are very little fruits that don't actually taste good together, but I would also not choose only sweet fruit or only sour fruit as I think it is nice to have some variety and contrast of flavours.

I chose my fruits for this salad according to those things I shared with you above as well as according to the colour. I wanted to make a beautiful rainbow salad and I decided to present it in a glass to be able to showcase how beautiful the colours look together. I hope you will like this idea and also be making a salad like this :) If you do, please share your photos with me below in the comments. Thank you! :)

Enjoy!
