Baileys Chocolate Coffee

A perfect Treat to finish a Christmas Dinner

IMG_0398.JPG

"Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful.." On winter days when you just feel like you want to curl up with a warm blanket and sit by a fire place or watch a funny movie, this Baileys Chocolate Coffee is your perfect companion.

Did I mention it is also a perfect way to end your Christmas Dinner? It is sweet, it keeps you warm and it tastes a bit like ice cream. The only bad thing about this drink is, that it tastes so good that one moment you have it and a minute later it is all gone.

Also this is a perfect dessert for those guests who are "too full to have anything", as it is sweet and just like a dessert, but doesn´t require much free space in the belly. I know, I  know..Who can be too full for dessert. But you all know someone like that, I am sure :)

Stay warm Lovelies!

A perfect Treat to finish a Christmas Dinner

INGREDIENTS

  • hot coffee (half a mug each)

  • 4 tsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 shots of Baileys (or any similar cream liqueur)

  • milk

  • whipping cream (30% fat)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Make the coffee and pour it into heat proof glasses (mugs). You should have about half a glass each.

  2. Add 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder to each of the glasses while the coffee is still hot. Mix well.

  3. Add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon to each of the glasses. Mix well.

  4. Measure a shot of Baileys and add one to each glass.

  5. Fill the glass almost to the top with milk, leaving a little space for the whipped cream.

  6. Whip the whipping cream until stiff, transfer into a piping bag with a big nozzle and pipe on top of the coffees.

  7. Sprinkle over some more cinnamon.
